1344 Should flee
Like the animal
Which roles back
In the mud
After bathed
Like the bird
Which get trapped
In the net
From which it escaped
Is there any fool
In this world
Who loses mukti
After receiving it
Shall one long
The unwanted life
Which she
Give up
Once bitten by it
Losing one’s mind
Shall one again
Long for it
When unnecessary thoughts
And actions
Seek after us
Once again
Can one chew them
Again and again
Thinking that
One is fighting against them?
Don’t become
Like a dog
Which licks
Its own vomit
Don’t live
Like a fool
Who step again
On the excretion
When the
Time comes to flee
We should run away
Fleeing from it
If we seek
Unnecessary confrontation
Then we will end up
Paying heavy price for that
There is no profit
Opposing it
With false courage
Once again
One hides
When it is necessary
Then alone she can
Attack again
Understanding this clearly
And thinking properly
One should guard
The mukti that she received

In Today’s portion of reading in Uttaraveda [NT] I read the
verses from 2:22 Peter
After reading the same words, particularly about the dog licking
its own vomit came to my mind. How true is this noble advice
for everyone to follow. Though we need to fight against several unwanted things
in our life, when it comes to temptation and unnecessary thoughts it is better
to flee from them than to confront them in the name of opposing them with vain
courage. As this thought impressed me I
wrote this song as my reflection.
1344 ஓட வேண்டும்
கழுவிய பின்னே
மீண்டும் சென்று
சேற்றில் புரளும்
மிருகம் போல
தப்பி வந்த
வலையின் உள்ளே
மீண்டும் சிக்கிய
பறவைப் போல
முக்தியைப் பெற்று
அதனை இழக்கும்
மூடரைப் போல
உலகில் உண்டோ
விட்டு வந்த
விரும்பா வாழ்வை
மீண்டும் எண்ணி
ஏங்கிடலாமோ
பட்ட பின்னும்
புத்தி யற்று
மீண்டும் அதனை
நாடிடலாமோ
வேண்டா எண்ணம்
விரும்பா செய்கை
நாடி மீண்டும்
தேடி வந்தால்
எதிர்ப்பதாக
எண்ணிக் கொண்டு
மீண்டும் அசை
போடலாமோ
எடுத்த வாந்தி
தன்னை மீண்டும்
நக்கும் நாயாய்
மாறிட வேண்டாம்
மிதித்த கழிவை
மீண்டும் மிதிக்கும்
மூடராய் எவரும்
வாழ வேண்டாம்
விலகிச் செல்லும்
நேரம் வந்தால்
விலகிச் சென்று
ஓடிட வேண்டும்
வேண்டா வம்பை
நாடிச் சென்றால்
அதிக விலையும்
தரவும் வேண்டும்
அசட்டுத் துணிவு
கொண்டு மீண்டும்
எதிர்ப்பதாலே
இலாபம் இல்லை
பதுங்கும் போது
பதுங்கினால்தான்
பாயும் போது
தாக்க முடியும்
இதனை உணர்ந்து
ஆய்ந்து நன்கு
முக்தி தன்னைக்
காக்க வேண்டும்
